TheFather is the ruling Supreme Being. If it wasn't for Him, Jesus would not have an eart to govern, there would be no people to save, the earth would continually be empty, void and without form. In fact, there wouldn't even be a Jesus. Why? Because God is the Father of Jesus in the eternal worlds. God has the same relationship to every human soul. The Father then gave the commandment and authority to Jesus to create the earth and see to that it was populated. God also told his Son to give his commandments to its inhabitants, to atone for their sins, and to be their just and merciful judge. "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth". (Matthew 28:18) Jesus was the Firstborn spirit child of the Father before the earth was made. Thus Jesus received the birth-right, but the beneficiary can never inherit more than the testator signs away, so even if the Father signs away everything, he could never testate his own fatherhood to Jesus. Jesus is - and will always be - the Son. He could not have been the Son if he aspired for something more. "And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven". (John 3:13) For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. (Romans 8:29) It is impossible for Jesus to be both firstborn and only begotten in the flesh. Since we know that he was the Only Begotten Son in mortality, the "Firstborn" has torefer to the birth of his spirit body before everything was created on the earth. The heart of God the Father and the heart of the Sonbeat like One. There is not one iota of a desire in the heart of God that the Son doesn't share. Likewise, there is no wish in the Son which deviatesfrom the perfect desire of the Father. "And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me". (John 17:19-21) Jesus and his Father are clearlynot one (as in a trinity) since Jesus prays that his followers should become oneas Jesus and the Father are as one. How are they as one? Of one mind! They love the same things! Of one desire! They act for the same reasons! It was neverthe Father's desire that conformed after the will of his son. It was always the desire of the Sonwhich was adaptedafter the will of the Father. Always! There will never be anydoubt that Jesus is dependent on the Father. Clearly, Jesus worships the Father, and we should too! Jesus teachesus to pray unto our Father in Heaven, and neverdid he command usto pray to him! "And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you". (John 16:23) We must always keep in rememberencethat the more love we have for Jesus, we must seek to glorify the Father who gave us Jesus. And remember this passage of scripture, and seek to apply it to its fullest extent: "Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise".
